in 2003 David Hernandez and his wife Teresa Surratt became the latest owners of the lake resort.
i don't know if the decor of the resort was already in place when David and Teresa purchased the camp or if they are responsible for the look, but man o' man it is spot on. picture after picture sucked me in and i wanted to be right there. i kept expecting to see Haley Mills in a photo wearing that cute camp uniform from The Parent Trap.

we've been having fun these past few weeks posting (mainly on our new website) to the what i wore wednesdays link-up at the pleated poppy (i've decided to move it over here from now on). the intent is to make us more thoughtful in what we wear. yes, we go to the shop every day and meet people, but we could very easily do that in jeans and a t-shirt (the grubby kind). so on wednesdays we're taking a picture of either mom or myself and sharing it with you. however, we are making the effort to look nice everyday of the week.
i've been at the shop all this week, giving mom a well deserved break after i was out of town for 6 days. thanks for holding down the fort mom!
