Saturday Oct 2nd, I (Bethany) will be at the Magnolia Creek & Co. Atelier with recipes for you to sample from Balanced Days, Balanced Lives -the book my mom and I did the food styling and photography for! Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Along with me will be my aunt Pam, co-founder of NutriMirror.com; she and I will be at the Saturday event from 10am - 5pm eager to share stories from the book and answer questions about NutriMirror.com. Hope to see you there!
And of course Robyn, the proprietress of Magnolia Creek & Co. has outdone herself as usual. European antiques, French lotions and soaps, and a bunch of groovy pieces that only Robyn could pull together. The weekend event is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Oct. 1-3.
I think her modern twist on vintage is a must see.

The event is in Valley Center at Robyn's boyfriends home, a place I like to call my home-away-from-home. I absolutely love it out there. The grounds are both manicured and rustic. There is a Koi pond, two great dogs running around, groovy muscle cars and motorcycles. I love the juxtaposition of Robyn's European antiques with the rugged guy stuff.

Hopefully my photo's give you an idea of the idyllic setting for Robyn's event. I hope you can come out in support of small business. Heck, you could get a jump start on holiday shopping -just a thought.
m•o•m will be open that day, Tere (mom) will be manning the shop. So if you can't make it out to Valley Center, stop by the workshop to taste a recipe sample from the book. At the moment, we are the only brick-and-mortar store carrying Balanced Days, Balanced Lives. See you soon!
