mat zabas (of 13choppers and 454 tattoo) stopped by the other day to say hey. he showed us that a tiny nu-nu has been riding along with him for a few months. how cute is that!

nu-nu's point-of-view.
the comedy team, uchimura and uchimura stopped by the studio last week so we could meet the newest member of the team. they told us that once their little sister is able to stand on stage they will change their name to, the uchimura 3.
what a great visit; they had us all rolling on the floor with laughter!
the party went off without a glitch. we had a really great time and are so thankful to everyone that came by saturday night.

this was a very special evening for my mother, sister and myself. we were truly touched by the enthusiasm of the crowd. family and friends came by, a few drove down from los angeles and new visitors stopped by when they saw the fun, everyone was welcome.

the world renown prima ballerina, miss saya brought her mother to the shop last week -what a treat for us. she is as lovely as she is graceful.
we asked what she likes best about visiting encinitas and she said 42nd and Orange. oh miss saya, you do say the nicest things.

this picture is from last week when mom and i had a working lunch at the studio.
we were checking our to-do list for the party and addressing invitations.
we're excited and a bit nervous about the party...will it rain? will it be really cold? have we chosen the right food and drinks? will anyone show up? i get so worked up over these things.

how do you like our latest model? our delight was audible when we received these images from a former art center classmate of mine. i sent ramona the ties and asked if she would snap a few pics of her seriously cute son will (quick, someone get this kid an agent!). there are a bunch of great images, it looks like they had a good time too.
talk about looking swell and cool! this little guy has it in spades.

we made it through the holidays and now it's time to party.

the ever discerning miss osaki and her mom stopped by the studio the other day. she checked out a few m•o•m items -gave hugs and kisses to the nu-nu doll, looked over the construction of a nanny's pinafore. in the end she went home with a red lace t-shirt and this nanny's pinafore.
